COMPLETING YOUR REGISTRATION

Once the following steps are complete, you'll be all set!
  • Step one
REGISTER YOUR TGS CAR CLUB ACCOUNT
This allows us to determine if you are eligible for a H-plate (requiring only a RWC) or M-Plate (Modified vehicle requiring a RWC and VASS Engineers Certificate).
  • STEP TWO
    VASS REGISTRATION
If your vehicle was built after 31/12/1968 and hasn't been registered, you'll need to apply for a vehicle assessment signatory scheme (VASS) approval certificate.
  • STEP THREE
    APPLICATION REVIEW
Our Club Plate Officer will review your applications to determine your eligibility.
  • STEP FOUR
    ROADWORTHY CERTIFICATION
Apply for a Roadworthy Certificate that is valid for your vehicle inspection.
  • STEP FIVE
    VEHICLE INSPECTION
Present your vehicle to your chosen Club Safety Officer/Scrutineer at the arranged time. Ensure your car is clean and well-presented and that all details on your RWC are correct before you attend the inspection. If approved you will be provided with all relevant documentation to provide to VicRoads.
  • STEP SIX
    VICROADS
We can present your documents to VicRoads on your behalf. However, if you decide to take your completed documents to VicRoads, make sure you advise us of your new Club Permit Plate Number.
